SwissB2B does not provide an export from an existing company database. We research the ordered company addresses and business contact data to your criteria using publicly accessible sources. We cross-check the information, add the agreed data fields and manually review the completed delivery.
The sources relevant to an order depend on the required industry, region and company size, as well as the contact details you need.
Public sources for companies and contacts
Official company registers
For Swiss companies, we use public registers such as Zefix, the UID Register, the Swiss Official Gazette of Commerce and the cantonal commercial registers. They help us verify company names, legal forms, registered offices and registration status.
Company websites
Company websites provide current information about locations, activities, telephone numbers, general e-mail addresses and contact persons. Depending on the order, we review contact, legal notice, team and location pages in particular.
Public company profiles and directories
We also review publicly accessible business directories, company profiles and reviews. These sources help us classify a company’s activities and cross-check information from other sources.
International research
For orders outside Switzerland, we use comparable official registers, company websites and publicly accessible company sources in the relevant market.
How we check each delivery
- You define the target group. We apply your criteria, such as industry, search term, region, country and required company size.
- We research suitable companies. The selection is created for the specific order only after you place it.
- We cross-check the information and add the agreed fields. Business e-mail addresses also pass through a technical verification process.
- We review the delivery manually. Before handover, we check that the companies match the agreed criteria and that the file is complete and correctly structured.
Researched afresh for every order
We create each company selection only after you place your order and research every record for that specific assignment. The order date therefore serves as the reference date for the delivery.
You do not receive an export from a company database of unknown age. Companies may nevertheless change their website, contact details or organisation after we complete our research.
A quality guarantee with clear limits
Every company delivered is active at the time of research. E-mail addresses are technically verified and every delivery is reviewed manually. We replace demonstrably incorrect company data free of charge within 30 calendar days.
Public sources may be incomplete or change after our research. We therefore cannot guarantee that the data will remain complete and error-free indefinitely. We provide contact persons and their individual business e-mail addresses only when they are included in the selected package and publicly available.
What the delivery looks like
Our anonymised sample extract shows the typical company and contact fields in a delivery. You receive the final file in Excel and CSV format with the fields agreed for your order.
